About Conni Laine A resident of the North Georgia Mountains, Conni Laine is a performing artist, vocalist, songwriter and musician. She focuses her attention on the art of writing when she's not performing in a variety of venues throughout Georgia. Her impressive music selections will compliment any venue and they are suitable for all types of engagements. Her latest recording project was completed in collaboration with singer/songwriter Billy Lawson, a recent inductee into The Alabama Music Hall of Fame. This collatboration gave birth to a sure fire hit and it's now ready for release! This project follows her recent stellar production, a 6 song compilation of originals with co-producer James Salter and Muscle Shoal’s recording artist/producer Jimmy Johnson who produced some of Conni's first major influences such as, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Connie Francis to only name a few of the associated artists with Muscle Shoals. Conni’s earliest influences included her father, whose guitar playing provided the inspiration beginning her musical journey, along with the styles of great artists such as The Supremes, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley and a long list of Motown artists that have set the stage inspiring and injecting fire into her soul! For Conni Laine, it’s all about heart, and to deliver it you have to feel it and that she does! She will groove you, move you and soothe your soul whether it’s Jazzy Blues, Country, Soul or Rock.
